Boy Scout Troop 891 is a group of young boys who enjoy adventure and the great outdoors. They meet on Monday evenings at 7pm at either the Johnson Church Gym or the Barberton Moose. In addition to weekly meetings, the troop enjoys frequent campouts and an annual high adventure trip. They have their own camp site right in Norton and have produced 76 Eagle Scouts, the highest rank in Boy Scouts. They attend summer camp at Camp Manatoc, where they have even more opportunities for outdoor fun and adventure. They also offer an Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) every year to prepare eligible scouts for National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT).
They invite youth from all the packs and troops in the Barberton / Norton area to come visit and see what they're all about. The troop is open to new members and invites interested boys to come visit.
